HomeServe is recruiting a Network Coordinator to join our Network Supply Chain team. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the consistent, day to day delivery of a high quality service to our customers, working with a UK wide network of trusted contractors across multiple trades, all engaged on a commercial contractual basis.
Demonstrable, strong Excel capability is a key requirement for success in this role. Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 40 Hours per week,
Location: You must be able to commute to one of the three UK offices located in; Nottingham (NG6 8WR), Preston (PR2 9NZ) and Walsall (WS2 7BN) with a requirement to follow our Hybrid Working Model of a minimum 2 days in the nearest office.
Who is HomeServe looking for?
In this role, you’ll support the smooth coordination of our contractor network, helping to maintain strong service standards and positive working relationships. You’ll report into the Operational Partnerships Service Excellence Manager. You will work closely with trade specific Supply Chain Manager on a day to day basis, who in turn reports to the Head of Network Operations, giving you clear direction and support within an established structure.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support the Network Supply Chain Managers (SCM) to deliver the HomeServe Supply Chain Strategy and support SCM’s with coordination of activities.

Support contractors directly with HomeServe Membership Limited systems and processes. This will include from an IT perspective, supporting our contractors with any technical system issues.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key critical departments within Network, Directly Employed Engineers and Service Operations.

Support the Health and Safety culture into our Network Trades to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies. Ensuring that regular data is collated and produced for the SCMs.

Provide support to the Network team in the form of reviewing the complaints and Rant & Rave data to highlight the root causes and trends. This will include direct communications with our contractors to drive rant and rave improvements and complaint reductions.

Maintain the Work In Progress (WIP) for SCMs. This will involve detailed analysis of the WIP alongside communicating directly with our contractors, to drive job delivery and job completion, thus reducing outstanding WIP.

Assistance with project work for the Network Operation as and when required, including supporting the SCM’s with the search, selection and onboarding of contractors

Assistance with cost recovery from contractors after the weekly reviews with SCMs. Involvement will be direct with our contractors and finance teams to ensure an end to end process for timely cost recovery across the Network.

Assistance with producing productivity and performance packs for regular distribution to our Network of 125 contractors.
- Preparation and sending bulk communications to contractors on behalf of the SCMs. Contractor engagement is key.
