HomeServe are looking for a proactive, curious, and highly capable Management Accountant who brings both strong technical ability and a self‑starter mindset. You’ll be confident preparing high‑quality monthly management accounts, presenting in monthly flash meetings, and working across P&L and balance sheet activity within a large corporate environment.
You’ll ideally be part‑qualified CIMA or ACCA and committed to completing your qualification, with extensive experience producing accurate and timely management information. Experience with Oracle or Hyperion would be highly beneficial, as would exposure to financial services.

The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the delivery of high‑quality management reporting, and insightful analysis whilst maintaining strong financial controls for the Service Operations and Marketing business units. Working closely with Senior Finance Managers, this role ensures accurate monthly results, robust governance, and meaningful financial insight for stakeholders.
- Management Reporting – Support the production of monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Prepare working files and assist in producing clear financial narratives for stakeholders.
- Performance Insight – Provide analysis and commentary on core operational performance and new business initiatives. Contribute to monthly performance reviews by presenting clear, data‑driven insight that supports decision‑making.
- Financial Controls & Regulatory Compliance – Operate and maintain effective financial controls across relevant processes. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX requirements, escalating risks or issues to senior management where appropriate.
- Continuous improvement & Innovation – With support from senior management, identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting quality. Support automation and efficiency initiatives to reduce manual effort.
- Audit Support – Assist with half‑year and year‑end audits by preparing audit evidence, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements.
- Projects - Support project activity that impacts FR&C processes, including system changes, process reviews, or control enhancements.
