About The Role

HomeServe is looking to recruit a Senior Channel Manager, Direct Mail  to join our Marketing Communications team.

 

The role is working in our hybrid way, mostly working from home but with a requirement to travel to our Walsall office when needed.

 

Salary is up to £55,000 + £5,500 cash/car allowance, 10% management bonus, private medical cover & 6% matched pension.

 

As Senior Channel Manager you will be the business expert in  Direct Mail,  leading campaign delivery and owning and optimising the Direct Mail plan across both Acquisition and Existing Customer activity. Working with key stakeholders around the business you will drive critical company and Partner outcomes, always prioritising value and maintaining pace in delivery. 

 

With a passion for brilliant execution  you will use your experience of Direct Mail campaign delivery to make a step change improvement in our existing capability. Working in partnership with your Channel Marketing team colleagues  you will collectively deliver first class campaigns across all of our categories , supporting our Customer needs and growth ambition. 

 

Some of this roles duties will include;

 

  • Responsible for developing  Direct Mail campaign recommendations - across creative, messaging and branding - developing forecast recommendations  in order to drive performance and achieve the in year Customer number set by our Strategy team

  • Own and develop the channel test and learn plans and strategic direction towards the future of Direct Mail working closely with the Strategy and Digital teams to drive change across an established channel

  • Collaborate and influence stakeholders across the business to ensure the appropriate understanding of business requirements and their translation into effective campaign delivery 

  • Work with marketing stakeholders to ensure consistency in campaign development and delivery , creating value through integrated delivery approaches, recommending, designing and implementing change through process re-engineering or new technology requirements 

  • Responsible for metrics and KPI’s associated with Direct Mail delivery Including error-free and to deadline delivery, identifying opportunities to improve conversion through all response channels and demonstrating 100% commitment to quality and compliance

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

 

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in Direct Mail, ideally in a financially regulated environment

  • A track-record of executing direct mail campaigns and a proven knowledge of direct mail best practise 

  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills with an ability to drive and influence on key priorities and challenge traditional ways of thinking

  • Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, including ROI modelling and planning, implementing and presenting results

  • Proven experience of driving effective marketing campaign delivery  through strong prioritisation processes

  • Effective communication skills at all levels, with a proven ability to collaborate with a pragmatic and confident approach and ability to influence in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
